7N is a Danish firm that is one of the leading agents for high-end IT specialists in the world today. The firm has over 30 years of experience in the IT consultancy business, and due to that, their website has to be first-rate as it is instrumental in 7N’s business model.
When 7N needed to upgrade their website to add extra features including an HR panel to allow easy posting and updating of job posts plus a specialist section with biographies highlighting the IT consultants available for client assignments, they awarded the contract to Uptime.
The key factors in Uptime winning the contract were technical competence, website, and CMS experience, and the ability to have developers, project management, and management communicate with 7N exclusively in English.
Phase 1
An Introductory meeting was held at 7N’s Warsaw office with a team from Uptime. After a successful meeting, a follow-on meeting was held at Uptime’s headquarters in Warsaw. After a thorough review of 7N’s requirements, Uptime recommended Umbraco as the best Content Management System to satisfy the project’s requirements.
7N accepted Umbraco Content Management System for their project, and Uptime assembled a team to develop the website project.
Phase 2
The team implemented the new features and configured Umbraco CMS to satisfy the project’s specifications. To achieve a high-level of quality assurance, Uptime developed an automated testing process developed for the entire website with additional manual testing.
Phase 3
The Uptime team designed a Cloud environment architecture with separate structures for development, staging, and production versions of the website. After further testing, the 7N website was deployed to the Cloud environment.
Result and cooperation
The 7N website project was a success, and the relationship continues with Uptime performing maintenance and upgrades for 7N website.
Uptime cooperates on other projects with the client.
